Let's put it like this, if you are vegan maybe you should pass this one, but if you are a meat LOVER and want a unique "bon vivant" experience than this is must to visit!!! Food is cooked on an open fire charcoal grill. We ordered the bone marrow as starter and a 1kg Côte de boeuf with an amazing gratan and delicious homemade sauces (parmesan +truffle my favorite) Great wine recommendation also. Service was impeccable, owner always welcoming the guests and making sure that food is the best. Definitely we will be back!
Don't chose this place if you want to eat good steaks. We came with 4 friends because we've seen the Instagram vidéos but 4 out of 6 steaks were well done, and not médium rare as we had ordered. The attached photo for them is rare. Impossible to chew, so extremly dissapointed for our expectations.
Amazing experience at Gueuleton! Stumbled across it looking for a place to eat while in downtown Aix. The dry-aged cuts on display looked incredible and we had to try! Was not disappointed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Aix.
Awful.
We booked a table for 8 people at the second service at 9pm last week.
We first waited 30min before a waitress deigned to serve us the drinks, then another 1h to get our dishes. Half of the dishes presented on the menu were no longer available, as well as the dressings (which are charged 3€ each) and the side dishes had to be ordered separately.
As there was no more beef Tomahawk, we had to order the short ribs. 15€ without side dishes for 1 poor ribs of 100 grams! The side dish was a single small potato pan for 8 people! We were so hungry once the dish was finished that we had to order bread 5 times, which was itself stale.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the waitress present us with 2 ribs and put her tablet on it to take the order...
Finally the evening cost us 40-50€ per person and we were hungry when we left. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant which claims to be upscale but has no such appeal.

Nice restaurant for lunch. Quickly served, helpful and friendly. We sat outside on the terras.
Disappointing.
We have followed their videos on Youtube, my partner had been keen to visit for sometime. We had relatively high expectations.
Quality of food was poor and overpriced. The pomme purée had an overwhelmingly acidic undertone. We enquired of its ingredients, waiter offered to bring us the pasta instead - not great. Steak tartare, no finesse and lacked flavour. One Tiger prawn was 18€ ( menus says crevettes) perhaps needs updated to crevette.
160 € later, not even for an average meal.
A shame.
There are much nicer places in Aix.
My partner was sick later in the afternoon.
Side note - A waiter was walking around inside the restaurant with no shoes on - I guess her feet hurt!?
Lovely setting at the edge of a small square. Most staff was lovely, our waitress couldn't care less. 11€ Os à moelle en gouttière was perfectly done, a very large serving of a halved lengthwise long bone. 12€ Asperges gratinées au parmesan was 6 spears and overcooked. Do NOT order the 39€ Faux filet à os maturé, inedible, mostly bone and gristle. 21€ Saucisse grillée de cochon fermier d'Auvergne was also overcooked.
Delicious every time! What they do with truffle should be illegal! Our favorite place for lunch and dinner☆☆☆☆☆
